By accessing or using TheoryLane (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

TheoryLane is an independent online practice platform for Singapore (BTT, FTT, RTT) and Japan driving theory tests. We provide lessons, practice questions, mock tests, and study resources in multiple languages.

We are not affiliated with the Singapore Traffic Police, Japan's National Police Agency, any driving centre, or any government licensing authority. Passing our quizzes does not guarantee success on an official exam.

You may create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service.

Free users can access limited features, including a daily mock-test limit per category. Premium subscribers receive expanded access for the duration of an active subscription.

Feature limits may change; we will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.

Premium may be purchased via manual payment methods shown in the app (e.g. KBZPay, WavePay). Payment screenshots are reviewed manually; access is granted after approval.

Prices and subscription duration are shown at checkout. Refunds are handled case by case — contact us if you believe a payment was made in error.

You agree not to copy, scrape, or redistribute our question banks or content; attempt to bypass paywalls or rate limits; use bots or automated tools to abuse the Service; or upload harmful, illegal, or misleading content in feedback forms.

We may block access for abuse without prior notice.

All questions, illustrations, branding, and software on TheoryLane are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own study only.

The Service is provided "as is" for educational purposes. We do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free. Always refer to official handbooks and licensing authorities for exam rules.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheoryLane and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including exam outcomes or lost data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes should first be raised with us by email.
