TheoryLane is a driving theory test practice platform for Singapore (BTT/FTT/RTT) and Japan, available at theorylane.app. We help learners prepare for their driving theory tests in English, Myanmar, and Japanese.

We collect only what is needed to run the service:

• Account information — email address and a hashed password when you register (via Supabase Auth).
• Quiz progress — scores and attempt history in your browser (localStorage) and, if logged in, in our database.
• Usage data — anonymised data about how you use the app to improve the service.
• Cookies — functional cookies for sessions; Google AdSense may set advertising cookies if you accept them in our cookie banner.

• To provide and improve quiz and practice features
• To track your progress and display your best scores
• To manage your account and subscription (if applicable)
• To send daily practice reminders (only if you opt in via the bell icon)
• To display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense (with your consent)

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites.

Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us. Browser data (quiz progress, reminders) can be cleared by deleting localStorage in your browser settings.

TheoryLane is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us.
